Business Development

Successfully planned, developed, implemented

and managed multiple formalized successful business development programs. Each program was based on detailed analysis and involved such key elements as strategic/tactical planning,

product/ customer focus, marketing program development/implementation, proposal factory development, corporate communications program development/implementation, metrics, personnel management, strategic alliances, product packaging/ fortification, pricing/costing strategy, program management, proposal development/review and capture strategy.

Executive Management

Have managed multiple operational groups supporting the DoD, Intelligence Community and Federal Civil customer sets. Have served on numerous corporate executive boards. Contributed to corporate planning/focus, organizational structure, resource allocation, policies, processes, and procedures.

Strategic Planning

Effectively and efficiently developed multiple corporate strategic plans. These plans involved an overview of current corporate product/customer focus, a near term/ long term market analysis, development of realistic corporate goals and an intelligent, market-driven strategic plan in support of goal(s) and associated profitability realization.

Strategic Alliances

Cultivated numerous Conus and Oconus strategic partnerships in support of strategic plan implementation. Alliances were driven by technology, product, customer, political, geographical or a combination of these factors.

Business Development Training

Have developed, implemented, and refreshed multiple business development training modules. These modules can be adapted to the appropriate corporate audience and they include the business development process, opportunity shaping/capture, and proposal development. 

Mergers and Acquisitions

As an adjunct to organic corporate growth, have had significant involvement with multiple major acquisitions. This involvement included opportunity identification, evaluation, valuation, negotiation, incorporation, management and change management.
